Lauren In The Legislature

Why I voted YES on the state budget, community office hours, and more!

The State Budget: Why I voted YES!

After a session of bad bills and long budget negotiations, I was energized to take positive action, fight alongside my Democratic colleagues for common-sense budget wins, and bring an additional $2M to my district in support of homelessness services (stay tuned). I understand the importance of providing services for the unhoused; after college, I worked for Kathleen Kennedy (RFK’s daughter) to create a Homeless Hotline in Boston, making this win extremely meaningful for me. I was proud to bring back wins for our district — take a look!

I’m Running For a Second Term!

After serving in the State Senate this past session, I’ve decided to run for another term. There’s much work to do — to protect our climate, defend our democracy, and stand up for the people of LD8 and Arizona. In the Senate, I called out Republican legislation that would harm the people of this state, and plan on continuing to FIGHT for our community. If you’d like to chip in and support my re-election, please visit the link below. Thank you for your support!
